1. John C. Stennis Sailors return home from deployment

  2. USS Stethem visits Sydney to promote green energy initiatives

    The guided-missile destroyer arrived in Sydney, Australia, Aug. 14 for a port visit that includes demonstrating Great Green Fleet energy conservation measures to senior U.S. and Australian officials.

  3. Bonhomme Richard ESG sails for 7th Fleet patrol

    All three forward-deployed ships of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) are now underway from Sasebo, Japan, for a routine patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.

  4. John C. Stennis Strike Group returns to San Diego

    More than 7,000 John C. Stennis Strike Group Sailors returned to San Diego Aug. 10 following a seven-month deployment in the Indo-Asia-Pacific.

  5. 5 nations conduct post-RIMPAC multilateral exercise

    Ships from Australia, Canada, Japan, South Korea and the U.S. participated in a post-Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) multilateral exercise in the Hawaii operating area, Aug. 5-9.

  6. USS Boxer arrives in Malaysia for port call

    The amphibious assault ship, along with the embarked 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit arrived in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, Aug. 9 for a port visit.

  9. USS Momsen makes mid-deployment visit to Subic Bay

    The guided-missile destroyer, part of a U.S. 3rd Fleet Pacific Surface Action Group, arrived in Subic Bay, Philippines, Aug. 8 for a port visit.

  10. CVW-5, Japanese squadron continue milestone exercise

    The second Benkyoukai training event between the Japan Air Self-Defense Force and Carrier Air Wing Five (CVW) 5 was conducted Aug. 1-4, led by the Dambusters of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 195.
