ADVISORY: Press Conference

PEARL HARBOR (Feb. 17, 2001) -- Adm. Thomas B. Fargo, U.S. Pacific Fleet Commander, will hold a press conference at 3 p.m. today at Pearl Harbor to discuss decisions following his review of the preliminary inquiry report regarding the Feb. 9 collision of USS Greeneville with the motor vessel Ehime Maru.

Media need to meet in the parking lot outside Pearl Harbor's main entrance, Nimitz Gate, at 2 p.m. The Navy will provide transportation to the press conference site. Media will not be allowed to drive to the site.
