PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii - Adm. Samuel Paparo, commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet met with UK Secretary of State for Defence Ben Wallace, UK First Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Staff Adm. Tony Radakin, and UK Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mike Wigston for a visit to the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor, July 16.

During the visit the leaders reaffirmed the strong and enduring UK-U.S. defense partnership, and discussed the inaugural deployment of Queen Elizabeth Carrier Strike Group and the importance of interoperability between like-minded international partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
