    Australia, Philippines, U.S. conduct Multilateral Maritime Cooperative Activity

    SOUTH CHINA SEA — The combined armed forces of Australia, the Philippines, and the United States, demonstrated a collective commitment to strengthen regional and international cooperation in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific while conducting a multilateral Maritime Cooperative Activity (MCA) within the Philippines’ Exclusive Economic Zone, Feb. 15-16, 2026.

  • The Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and Ticonderoga-Class Guided-Missile Cruiser USS Princeton (CG-59), conduct a simulated strait transit in the Pacific Ocean, Jan. 27, 2026. The simulated strait transit was conducted to refine the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit's ability to integrate with the Navy for enhanced force protection.  The 11th MEU is currently underway aboard the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations conducting integrated training that enhances lethality and warfighting readiness.     BOXARG-11th MEU complete at-sea integrated training exercise

    PACIFC OCEAN — The Boxer Amphibious Ready Group - 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit completed a routine integrated training exercise off the coast of Southern California, Jan. 21 – Feb. 6, 2026. Conducted underway in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations, the amphibious training enhanced warfighting readiness and strengthened the partnership of the amphibious force in preparation for future expeditionary operations.

  • Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Pinckney (DDG 91) is pier-side at Changi Naval Base as part of ship repair and maintenance exercise in Singapore, Jan. 28, 2026. Ship repair and maintenance exercise is designed to rehearse coordination and execution of ship damage repair from forward locations within the Indo-Pacific region, strengthening ties with the skilled workforce within allied and partner countries. A testament to the excellent and longstanding defense relationship between Singapore and the U.S. is the agreement allowing U.S. Navy ships to transit in Singapore for logistics and maintenance requirements.     USS Pinckney departs Singapore after ship repair and maintenance exercise

    Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Pinckney (DDG 91) departed Singapore, Feb. 4, after a port visit in support of a ship repair and maintenance exercise.

    USS Dewey departs Otaru following port visit

    Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) departed Otaru, Japan, Feb. 10, following a successful multi-day port visit that strengthened the enduring alliance between the United States and Japan.

  • Sailors assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5 and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) EOD teams launch from the Uraga-class mine countermeasure vessel JS Bungo (MST-464) during unmanned underwater vehicle operations as part of Mine Warfare Exercise (MINEX) 1JA, Feb. 2, 2026. MINEX 1JA is part of a year-long series of bilateral exercise between the U.S. Navy and JMSDF to strengthen interoperability and increase proficiency in mine countermeasure operations.     The U.S. Navy and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) completed Mine Warfare Exercise (MINEX) 26 1JA off the coast of Japan in Ise Bay, Jan. 30 -Feb. 11.
