JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM (April 12, 2023) Rear Adm. Jeff Jablon, Commander, Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, addresses attendees of the Submarine Warfare Commanders Conference (SWCC) on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, April 12. The purpose of SWCC, which was first held in 2018, is to strengthen a free and open Indo-Pacific region through expanded cooperation between submarine force commanders of allies and partners. The Pacific Submarine Force provides strategic deterrence; anti-submarine warfare; anti-surface warfare; precision land strike; intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and early warning; and special warfare capabilities around the globe.
