    USS Nimitz arrives to final homeport of Naval Station Norfolk

    NORFOLK, Va. – Nearly 3,000 Sailors of nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) arrived at Naval Station Norfolk following a historic and successful four-month deployment to the U.S. Southern Command areas of operations, and participation in Fleet Exercise (FLEETEX) 250 and the International Naval Review (INR) 250, July 9.

  • Building on the success of RIMPAC 2024, NPS’ Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing Research and Education (CAMRE) is heading back to Hawaii for RIMPAC 2026 with their largest, most ambitious at sea effort to date, including state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing (AM) systems aboard multiple ships and ashore, as the team explores cutting-edge AM capabilities, networks and advanced operations integrated with autonomous vehicles.     Largest advanced manufacturing demonstration in Department of War history set for RIMPAC 2026

    MONTEREY, Calif. — The Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing Research and Education (CAMRE) is preparing to support Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2026 exercise with what organizers describe as the largest advanced manufacturing demonstration ever conducted by the U.S. Department of War (DOW), bringing together military, government, academic, commercial and coalition partners to operationalize advanced manufacturing for the Navy and joint force.

    Pacific Partnership, Pacific Friendship wrap up joint mission in Quang Tri, Vietnam

    QUANG TRI, Vietnam — After two weeks of disaster management, medical, engineering, and outreach activities designed to build multilateral cooperation and collective capacity to respond to disasters, U.S. Navy-led Pacific Partnership 2026 (PP26) and U.S. Army-led Pacific Friendship 2026 (PF26) concluded their joint mission with a closing ceremony at the Gold Coast Hotel in Quang Tri, July 3.

    U.S. forces strengthen Pacific security partnerships at CARAT Thailand 2026

    FIWCPAC Holds Change of Command in Pearl Harbor

    U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Kurt Mole assumed command of the Fleet Information Warfare Command - Pacific (FIWCPAC) during a change of command ceremony at the Battleship Missouri Memorial, July 2. He relieved U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Nicholas Homan, becoming the third commander of FIWCPAC since its establishment in 2022.
