Captain Brian Anderson

Captain Anderson is a 1992 Graduate of Saint Michael’s College. Enlisting in the Navy in 1992, he attended Recruit Training at RTC Great Lakes, Illinois. He received a dual MBA in Supply Chain Management and Human Resource Management from the Broad Graduate School of Management at Michigan State University in 2007, and attended the Executive Development Program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

Anderson previously commanded Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA Energy) and the Fleet Logistics Center in San Diego. Afloat he served on USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), USS George Washington (CVN 73), USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74), USS Ponce (LPD 15), USS Samuel B. Roberts (FFG 58) and USS White Plains (AFS 4).

Other assignments include Naval Acquisition Contracting intern at Naval Inventory Control Point Philadelphia; Aide de Camp and Executive Officer to Director, Defense Logistics Agency; Chief, Joint Logistics Operation Center, Defense Logistics Agency; Material Movement Coordinator at Office of Defense Representative Pakistan, Islamabad, Pakistan; Deputy Force Supply Officer, Commander, Naval Air Forces Pacific; Assistant Chief of Staff for Fleet Logistics, Ordnance and Maintenance, Commander, U.S. Seventh FLEET; Force Supply Officer, Commander, Naval Air Forces Pacific; and Assistant Commander for Supply Chain Management, Policy & Performance at Naval Supply Systems Command in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Anderson is designated as a Naval Aviation Supply Corps Officer and as a Surface Warfare Supply Corps Officer. He is a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps and is a Joint Qualified Officer.

His personal awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, and various other unit and campaign awards.
