TINIAN, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (Aug. 10, 2020) Rear Adm. John Menoni, commander of Joint Region Marianas, center, and Capt. Eric Correll, commodore of Commander Task Force 75, center right, discuss the current and future state for a harbor repair project in Tinian with Lt. j.g. Aaron Ignacio, left, and Senior Chief Equipment Operator Matthew Kreamalmyer, officer-in-charge and assistant officer-in-charge of U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3’s Detail Tinian, respectively. NMCB-3 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection. The battalion stands ready to complete assigned tasking, support Humanitarian Aid/Disaster Relief and Major Combat Operations throughout the area of responsibility.
