YOKOSUKA, Japan (May 24, 2019) Cmdr. Jeff Benson delivers remarks at his change of command ceremony onboard the Arleigh-Burke guided-missile destroyer USS Stethem (DDG 63). Cmdr. Benson is being relieved by Cmdr. John Rummel as commanding officer of Stethem. Stethem is forward-deployed to the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility in support of security and stability in the region.
