PHILIPPINE SEA (April 18, 2019) U.S. Navy Sailors and Royal Australian Navy sailors discuss the cooperative deployment and similarities between partner Navies aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Preble (DDG 88) during a cooperative deployment. Preble is participating in a cooperative deployment with the Adelaide-class guided-missile frigate of the Australian Royal Navy HMAS Melbourne (FFG-05) in order to improve on maritime capabilities between partners. Preble is deployed to the U.S 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
