180120-N-HT134-072 PACIFIC OCEAN (Jan. 20, 2018) The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) steams through the Pacific Ocean. The amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) is part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).
