171108-N-IO414-082 SASEBO, Japan (Nov. 8, 2017) Gunners Mate 2nd Class Frank Rivas, assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48), holds his child after returning to Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo following the completion of a five-month deployment in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
