150108-N-BK290-011 PACIFIC OCEAN (Jan. 8, 2015) Medical personnel lift a simulated patient onto a gurney during a casualty receiving drill aboard the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH19). The drill is part of Mercy Exercise (MERCEX) 02-15, a quarterly exercise designed to train and integrate medical and other core Navy personnel to operate the ship as a Medical Treatment Facility.
