YOKOHAMA, Japan (Nov. 7, 2022) Adm. Samuel Paparo, commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet, met with Vice Adm. Datuk Abdul Rahman Bin Ayob, Deputy Chief of the Royal Malaysian Navy, during the 18th Western Pacific Maritime Symposium in Japan. The leaders met to reaffirm the partnership between Malaysia and the United States and to discuss maritime matters of mutual interest while building confidence and trust in the ability to work together for a free and open Indo-Pacific.
