Philippine Navy sailor Observes UNREP aboard USS Robert Smalls (CG 62)

PHILIPPINE SEA (June 15, 2023) Lt. j. g. Tjader De Alba and a Philippine Navy sailor observe a replenishment-at-sea with USNS Carl Brashear (T-AKE 7) from the O-3 level aboard Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Robert Smalls in the Philippine Sea, June 15. The Philippines Navy sent Liaison Officers to U.S. warships to exchange maritime logistics operations knowledge in order to strengthen the U.S.–Philippines naval alliance. Robert Smalls is forward-deployed to the U.S. 7th fleet area of operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific. Commander, Task Force 73 (CTF-73) in coordination with Military Sealift Command Far East (MSC FE) refuels and resupplies deployed naval forces, along with regional allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific(U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class RuKiyah Mack).
