Abraham Lincoln conducts a replenishment-at-sea (RAS)

240814-N-NA571-1545 SOUTH CHINA SEA (Aug. 14, 2024 The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), breaks away from the Henry J. Kaiser-class USNS Rappahannock (T-AO 204), and the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111) after a replenishment-at-sea (RAS). Abraham Lincoln, flagship of Carrier Strike Group Three, is underway conducting routine operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. U.S. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy’s largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
