ROKS Lee Beom-seok (SS 081) moors alongside USS Frank Cable

POLARIS POINT, NAVAL BASE GUAM (Sept. 19, 2024) The Republic of Korea Navy (ROK) submarine ROKS Lee Beom-seok (SS 081) prepares to moor alongside the Emory S. Land-class submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40) at Polaris Point, Naval Base Guam, Sept. 19, 2024. The Lee Beom-seok visited Guam for a routine port visit. During the visit, ROK and U.S. Sailors had the opportunity to engage in bilateral engagements and training evolutions. Frank Cable, forward-deployed to the island of Guam, repairs, rearms, and re-provisions submarines and surface vessels in the Indo-Pacific region.
