USS Preble (DDG 88) Replenishment at Sea with USNS Tippecanoe (T-AO 199)

241210-N-KW492-1102 (Dec. 10, 2024) PHILIPPINE SEA The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Preble (DDG 88) receives fuel from the Henry J. Kaiser-class fleet replenishment oiler USNS Tippecanoe (T-AO 199) during a replenishment at sea in the Philippine Sea, Dec. 10. Commander, Task Force 73 (CTF-73) in coordination with Military Sealift Command Far East (MSC FE) refuels and resupplies deployed naval forces, along with regional allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific. Preble is forward-deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy's largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet's principal surface force.
