USS William P. Lawrence conducts topside preservation in Sasebo

SASEBO, Japan (April, 30, 2025) - Sailors use angle grinders and needle guns to remove rust from the skin of the ship during topside preservation while aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS William P. Lawrence (DDG 110), April, 30, 2025. The William P. Lawrence has made port in Sasebo, Japan, after operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations since November 2024.
