USS America conducts flight ops during Talisman Sabre in Coral Sea

CORAL SEA (July 16, 2025) Two U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II aircraft, assigned to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 242, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, prepare to land on the flight deck of the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) while conducting flight operations as part of Talisman Sabre 25 in the Coral Sea, July 16.
