USS Robert Smalls conducts flight ops in Indian Ocean

INDIAN OCEAN (JULY 14, 2025) An MH-60S Seahawk, from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12, lands aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Robert Smalls (CG 62) for Rear Adm. Eric J. Anduze, Commander, Task Force 70, Commander, Carrier Strike Group 5 to continue command and control of Carrier Strike Group 5 from the cruiser during Talisman Sabre 2025. Talisman Sabre is the largest bilateral military exercise between Australia and the United States advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific by strengthening relationships and interoperability among key allies and partners, while enhancing our collective capabilities to respond to a wide array of potential security concerns.
