USS Theodore Roosevelt conducts night flight ops in Pacific Ocean

PACIFIC OCEAN (July 27, 2025) – Two E-2D Hawkeyes, assigned to Airborne Command and Control Squadron (VAW) 115, line up to take off from the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), July 27. The Theodore Roosevelt, flagship of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 9, is underway conducting exercises to bolster strike group readiness and capability in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations.
