USS Theodore Roosevelt conducts preservation work in San Diego

SAN DIEGO (Sept. 2, 2025) – U.S. Navy Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Dono Pena, from Chico, California, paints the hull of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), Sept. 2. The Theodore Roosevelt, flagship of Carrier Strike Group 9, is currently pierside at Naval Air Station North Island in its homeport of San Diego.
