USS Theodore Roosevelt conducts line handline in San Diego

SAN DIEGO (Sept. 10, 2025) – U.S. Navy Boatswain’s Mate Cruzneri Jeffer, from Fresno, California, heaves a mooring line in the forecastle of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), Sept. 10. The Theodore Roosevelt, flagship of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 9, is underway conducting exercises to bolster strike group readiness and capability in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations.
