USS Makin Island conducts fueling-at-sea with Overseas Mykonos in Pacific Ocean

Sailors assigned to Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8), prepare lines for a fueling-at-sea evolution with Overseas Mykonos in the Pacific Ocean, Oct. 19, 2025. An integral part of U.S. Pacific Fleet, U.S. 3rd Fleet operates naval forces in the Indo-Pacific and provides the realistic, relevant training necessary to execute the U.S. Navy’s role across the full spectrum of military operations.
