EODMU-3 conducts live-fire exercise aboard USS George Washington in Philippine Sea

An Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 3, fires an M18 service pistol during a live-fire exercise aboard Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) while underway in the Philippine Sea, July 15, 2026. The George Washington Carrier Strike Group is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
