USS Makin Island conducts live-fire exercise in Pacific Ocean

U.S. Navy Aviation Ordnanceman 1st Class Raymond Henry, assigned to Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD8), fires a Mark 38 - 25 mm machine gun system during a live-fire event, July 27, 2026.
