SEA OF JAPAN (March 10, 2025) – Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ralph Johnson (DDG 114) fall into port side during a replenishment-at-sea with the Henry J. Kaiser-class underway replenishment oiler USNS Guadalupe (T-AO 200) while underway in the Sea of Japan, March 10. Commander, Logistics Group Western Pacific/Task Force 73 logistically resupplies deployed units in the Indo-Pacific along with regional Allies and partners. PACIFIC OCEAN (March 6, 2025) An F-35C Lightning II, assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 125, conducts a flyover of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Abraham Lincoln, flagship of Carrier Strike Group Three, is underway conducting routine training operations in the U.S. 3rd fleet area of operations. ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam (March 9, 2025) – Aviation Electrician’s Mate 2nd Class (AE2) Armando Francomendoza conducts preflight checks with pilots assigned to Commander, Task Force 72 aboard a P-8A Poseidon from the “War Eagles” of Patrol Squadron (VP) 16 during Exercise Sea Dragon 2025. Sea Dragon is a U.S.-led, multinational exercise focused on anti-submarine warfare tactics, enhancing interoperability among participating forces. Now in its seventh year, Sea Dragon 25 brings together Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) communities from the Australian Air Force (RAAF), Indian Navy (IN), Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN), and the United States Navy to address maritime security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
