INDIAN OCEAN (Nov. 23, 2020) The Royal Australian Navy Anzac-class frigate HMAS Ballarat (FFH 155) steams alongside the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) as an F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the "Mighty Shrikes" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 94, launches off the flight deck of the Nimitz. Nimitz, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 11, is deployed conducting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
