PHILIPPINE SEA (June 13, 2021) The dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42), the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) and the amphibious transport dock USS New Orleans (LPD 18) sail in formation as part of the America Amphibious Ready Group (ARG). The America ARG, along with the 31st MEU, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
