(Dec. 5, 2017) U.S. Navy Airman Christopher Garnow, assigned to the “Eightballers” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 8, meets his daughter for the first time after the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) returned to Naval Air Station North Island. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group is on a regularly scheduled deployment to the Western Pacific. The U.S. Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia-Pacific region routinely for more than 70 years promoting peace and security.
