PHILIPPINE SEA (March 10, 2017) The forward-deployed Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Stethem (DDG 63) and USS Barry (DDG 52) participate in a formation exercise during Multisail 17. The bilateral training exercise improves interoperability between the U.S. and Japanese forces. Participants benefit from realistic, shared training enhancing our ability to work together to confront any contingency.
