230404-N-ZQ263-1014 EAST CHINA SEA (April 4, 2023) The Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Decatur (DDG 73) steams in formation with the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) during a trilateral photo exercise. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group is conducting a trilateral maritime exercise with the Republic of Korea and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Navy’s in the U.S. 7th Fleet are of operations. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with Allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
