Ensign Brandon J. Britt is a native of Kentucky. He is a 2006 graduate of Western Kentucky University (B.A. Music) and a 2008 graduate of Ohio University (MM Trumpet Performance.) He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 2011 as a trumpet instrumentalist, and was commissioned to his current rank in 2024 via the Limited Duty Officer/Chief Warrant Officer program.
    
Prior to earning his commission, he served at Navy Band New Orleans, U.S. SEVENTH Fleet Band, Navy Band Northeast, and U.S. Fleet Forces Band. He has completed Spring patrol deployments onboard USS BLUE RIDGE (LCC 19.) He also participated in Continuing Promise 2022 aboard USNS COMFORT (T-AH 20) Continuing Promise 2023 aboard USNS BURLINGTON (T-EPF 10.) Most recently, ENS Britt served as the band Officer in Charge in support of Pacific Partnership 2025. His personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal (2) and the Navy and Marine Corps achievement medal (5.)
